DIED--At the residence of Jacob Mason, in Grant township, Tuesday, Jan 27th, after a lengthened illness, Mrs. Hannah Mason aged 71 years. Mrs. Mason's maiden name was Smith, and she was born in Union county, Pa., and was married to Mr. Jacob Mason 48 years ago this month. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and been a good and acceptable one for 50 years. The family came to Story county in 1868 and have resided in their present home since that time. She leaves a husband and a family of grown up children to look forward to a meeting in the future in that country where there will be no more parting. The funeral exercises were conducted yesterday and the remains accompanied to their last resting place by a large concourse of relatives and friends.
