DIED.--On Friday last, Ole K. Hill aged about 40 years.
Mr. Hill ws born in Norway and came to this country when something over 20 years of age, and settled at Cambridge. For six years following January, 1875, he filled the position of County Recorder to the satisfaction of all parties. He was buried on Saturday, Rev. Thornbrue preaching the sermon. He was buried by the several order of which he was a member, the Workmen conducting the ceremonies.
He leaves a wife to mourn his loss.
The following are the resolution of respect, as passed by the Masonic and A. O. U. Order:
Resolutions adopted by Nevada Lodge, No. 99, A. F. and A. M., on the death of ex-Recorder, Ole K. Hill.
WHEREAS, The Supreme Architect of the Universe in his allseeing wisdom has seen fit to call our dear brother, Ole K. Hill, fro our midst to that undissolving Lodge above, on the 17th day of August, 1883, while his sun was yet at his meridian height.
Therefore Resolved, That the life and character of our deceased christian brother is worthy of imitation, being honorable, true in all his acts, patient in all his long years of suffering, and a faithful christian.
That in his death the fraternity loses a faithful adherent to the principles of our Ancient Order, the wife, a kind and loving husband, the State a good citizen, and the community a man of noble character. That we deeply deplore the loss and extend to the widow our sincere sympathy in her bereavement.
Resolved, That as a token of our high regard and esteem for our deceased brother, and in respect to his memory, the Lodge room and working tool, be draped in mourning for the period of thirty days.
Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be handed the widow of the deceased, and that copies be furnished the several papers for publication.

WHEREAS, After years of unspeakable suffering Ole K. Hill, beloved brother and member of this Lodge, had been removed from us by death, therefore, as a mark of affection and in respect to the memory of our departed brother be it
Resolved--That in the death of our dear brother it may be truly said that his adopted Country has lost a patriotic citizen, society an an exemplary light, the wife a kind and affectionate husband, the church a true Christian and the Lodge a faithful member;
That his fidelity to every trust, his moral and upright conduct, his abiding faith in the principles of the Christian religion, his attachment to his family and friends are all examples worthy of ourt imitation;
That to the bereaved wife whose constant and faithful care at the bedside of her beloved and dying husband, during the long, weary and painful months of his illness, did all that human hands were capable of doing to alleviate his suffering, we extend our sympathy and condolence in this sad hour of her bereavement;
That our Lodge room be draped in appropriate mourning for the period of 30 days, a copy of these resolutions, presented to the bereaved wife and copies furnished for publication in the several county papers.
