From Story County Watchman April 6, 1883

Mr. and Mrs. [Z.] Shugart had the misfortune to loose their eight month old babe, Bessie, on Monday last. It was burried on Wednesday. And thus another family are left to mourn a loved one, and to look forward to the home in the future land, where the loved one will be met.
