GEORGE L. TICHENOR was born in Story Co, Iowa near Nevada Feb 4, 1856 and departed this life May 14, 1919, aged 63 years and 10 days. A complication resulting in heart trouble and dropsy, caused his death. I have not been acquainted with him very long, but it was my privilege to visit him during his illness, and have a little part in leading him to accept the Lord as his Saviour. He then united with the church and I administered the communion of the Lord's Supper to him. His own words were, "It's all right now. I have peace. " In this peace he lived only a few weeks, but died in the hope of being ______ incorruptible to enjoy that same ______ throughout eternity. He leaves to mourn their loss, 2 brothers, 1 sister and a nephew. May God abundantly comfort the bereaved. Funeral services were in _______ of the writer, assisted by Rev. W. McKinley. M. E. SHANK
