DIED--Dec. 8th 1880, Ross A. Robison, infant son of George and Alice Robison, aged 8 months and 11 days.

Rossie, thine earthly course is run,
Thy sufferings all are o'er,
Then wert not doomed to suffer long
On life's unfriendly shore.

Thy frail bark no more is tossed
On life's rough, stormy sea,
Oh happy child so soon released
From care and misery.

No friendly hand could give thee aid,
Or stay thy parting breath,
Yet in that cherub form we see
How beautiful is death.
