Sven Johnson received news of the sudden death of his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Martin Johnson, yesterday. She died at her home near Cambridge and will be buried Saturday.

Last Thursday Sven Johnson received the sad news of the death of the wife of his son Martin, at their home near Cambridge.

Miss Minnie Johnson was born in Clinton county, Aug 17th, '77. In 1893 she moved to Story county with her parents, who settled on a farm at Walnut Grove. Three years later she was married to Martin Johnson. At their house near Cambridge they have lived a happy life and two children were born to bless their union, one a son thirteen months old and the other an infant but a week old.

The funeral took place at the Palistine church Saturday, Rev. Huus officiating. A large number of relatives and friends attended attended the services and followed the remains to Palistine cemetery where they were interred. The RECORD extends sympathy.
