Died.

At Iowa Centre, on the morning of the 5th last, Malden Gifford, aged 70.

He has been in feeble health for some time. On the 4th inst. he was taken with a chill. His death was sudden and unexpected.

Mr. Gifford was highly respected by all who knew him. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his loss.
