THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, October 28, 2010.

Claud A. Larrick, 95, of Nevada, formerly of Melbourne, passed away Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, at Story County Senior Care in Nevada. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at Pursel Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Interment will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home.

Claud was born Aug. 21, 1915, near Clarence, Mo., the son of Grover and Jewell (Ridgeway) Larrick. At 15, he came to Iowa, and married Laura June Warden in 1937. He farmed in the Melbourne area until retiring. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and visiting family.

He will be missed by his children, Kay Eurom, of McCallsburg, Allen (Marjean) Larrick, of Tempe, Ariz., Aurelia (Dave) Pinta, of Nevada, and Rita (Pat) Fagan, of Yankton, S.D.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, three sisters, three brothers, and Kay’s companion, Howard Dickerson.
