Peggy Joyce Finnestad Moor, 72, of Story City, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at Bethany Manor in Story City. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at St. Petri Lutheran Church in Story City. Inurnment will follow in Story City Cemetery.
Soderstrum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Peggy Joyce Finnestad Moor, 72, of Story City, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at Bethany Manor in Story City. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at St. Petri Lutheran Church in Story City. Inurnment will follow in Story City Cemetery.
Peggy was born Dec. 13, 1937, in Bussey, to William and Delta (Jones) Heaton. She married Edward Finnestad on Sept. 25, 1965. He died Aug. 10, 2001. She married Rodney Moor on Dec. 24, 2001. She worked as a CNA at Bethany Manor for 20 years. She enjoyed making porcelain dolls, her family and going to the casino. Peggy was a member of St. Petri Lutheran Church. She lived in Story City from 1966 to 1996, then Hubbard, and back to Story City in 2007.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney Moor, of Story City; three daughters, Lana Finnestad, of Ames, Lisa Harrimann, of Ellsworth, and Mary Roche, of Ames; five grandchildren; one brother, Jack Heaton, of Knoxville; and four sisters, Norma Kauzlarich, of Knoxville, Bonnie Cowman, of Knoxville, Shirley Gullion, of Norwalk, and Carolyn Fee, of Eddyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one husband, Ed Finnestad; one son, Gene Stevens; and three brothers, Don, David and Jim Heaton.
