The Record, Roland, Story County, Iowa, Friday, September 10, 1897.

Word reached here yesterday that Knute Knutson, a brother of Mrs. Geo. Holland of this place, died after a weeks sickness from thyphos malaria, at the home of his father, Ole Knutson, near Radcliffe, that morning. The young man was a clerk in Thompson's dry good store at Radcliffe, and had a host of friends who mourn his loss and sympathize with the sorrowing relatives. Mrs. Holland was with him at the time of his death.
