NEVADA – Linda Lou Armes, 36, of Nevada, died Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.

Linda was born November 26, 1973 in Hayward, California, the daughter of Charles and Carol (Amaral) Armes. Linda has been a cook at nursing homes and hospice homes. Linda loved her brother, C.W., and her nephews and niece.

She is survived by her mother, Carol Armes of Nevada, Iowa; her father, Charles Armes of Oakland, California; her brother and sister-in-law: C.W. and Jessica Armes of Roland, Iowa; two nephews and one niece: Hayden Armes, Chayce Armes, Olive Armes; and her paternal grandmother, Carolyn Norton of Oroville, California.

Memorial Services will be 5:00 PM Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the home of C.W. Armes, 518 South Cottonwood Street in Roland, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made Alcoholics Anonymous.

The Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory in Nevada is handling arrangements.
