J. C. JOHNSON OF STORY CITY DIES
STORY CITY - J. C. Johnson, 74, died at his home here Wednesday at 11:15 a. m. from the effects of poor health and heart attack.
The funeral will be held at 2 p. m., Saturday in the Grace Evangilical church following a short service at the home. Burial will be in the Story City cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was born in Denmark and came to the United States and Story City at the age of four years. He has been for many years a partner in the old Pioneer store here.
Surviving are the following children: Howard Johnson of Story City, Charles R. Johnson of Boxholm, Mrs. Ray Heers of Amboy, Minn., Gladys Johnson of Waterloo; one brother Charles F. Johnson of Story City, a sister, Mrs. Tena Danielson of Chicago.
