C. E. Clark, 69, Victim of Heart Attack at Home
Charles Elmore Clark, 69, a resident of Ames for 21 years, died at his home at 967 Burnett avenue at 4 p. m., Friday of a heart attack suffered earlier in the day.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m., Sunday from the Adams chapel, with the Rev. Walter Morgan of the First Methodist church in charge. Burial will be in the Ames cemetery.
Mr. Clark was born in Princeton, Ill., Nov. 22, 1867. After farming for a number of years in Guthrie county, the family moved to Ames. Altho a retired farmer, Mr. Clark was active for a number of years as a employe in the freight house of the Chicago and North Western railroad.
Surviving him are his wife and two sons here, Ward and Allen, and three daughters, Mrs. Rollin Whitager of Downer's Grove, Ill., Mrs. Russell Keckler of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. George Gregory of Walt Hill, Neb. Also surviving are three brothers, Frank and Edward of Princeton, Ill., and Orrie of California.
