OBITUARY
(From unidentified Iowa newspaper)

Mrs. Julia Ann(1), wife of Grant Whitaker, died at her home near Iowa Center, November 10th, aged thirty-three years, seven months and five days.

She leaves two girls, three boys and a husband to mourn her departure. The funeral services were conducted by her pastor, V. Urbino, in the Iowa Center church in the presence of a large congregation of people, November 12th at 1:30 p.m. She was a loving mother and a devoted companion and seemed to live entirely for her family, church and religion. She was a faithful christian, always doing her duty with pleasure; her voice was heard in prayer, praise and testimony. Always seeking to help some one on the way of christian life, she was always a cheering inspiration to her pastor. No one could be missed more than she, in the home, in the church and in the community. "She hath done what she could," can be truly said of her. She died in the truimph of faith. "Glory to God I am ready to go," was her dying shout.

Many who attended her funeral eventually have as good an ending. V.U.
