OLE A WICKS OF ROLAND SUCCUMBS

ROLAND - Ole A. Wicks, 85, died at his home here Sunday afternoon at 3 p. m. from heart trouble and complications of old age. He had been ill for about a month.

A native of Norway, Mr. Wicks came to America and Story county with his wife in 1892. They lived on several farms near Roland until eight years ago when they moved into town. Six children were born, three of whom are now living. They are Lars and Alice at home and Torger of Kanawha. Mrs. Wicks survives her husband.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon. A prayer service at the home at 1:30 p. m. will precede the service at Bergen Lutheran church at 2 p. m. The Rev. M. O. Sumstad will have charge. Burial will be in the Roland cemetery.
