MRS. LIZZIE SWANSON IS DEAD AT KELLEY
KELLEY - Mrs. Lizzie Swanson, 77, died at home here Saturday morning. Her death was the result of a stroke suffered a week ago, altho she has been in poor health over a year.
Mrs. Swanson came to America from Sweden when she was nine years old. For many years she and her husband farmed near Kelley. In 1920, after Mr. Swanson's death, she moved into town andh as made her home since that time with her son Walter.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p. m., in the Congregational church at Kelley. Burial will be in the Madrid cemetery.
Mrs. Swanson is survived by seven sons and three daughters. They are Delmar, John, Wlater, and Earl of Kelley, Wilbur of Perry, Clifford of Ames, and Victor of Alexander, Minn., Mrs. Ella Stensland and Mrs. Ira Benbow of near Kelley, Mrs. Earl Crispin of near Boone. One sister, Mrs. Martha Carroll of near Kelley, also survives.
