FORMER STORY CITY WOMAN DIES TUESDAY

STORY CITY - Mrs. Henry A. Jacobsen of Des Moines, former Story City resident, died Tuesday morning at 8 a. m. at her home at the Commodore hotel in Des Moines.

Mrs. Jacobsen had been in failing health since she underwent an operation about a month ago. She had resided in Des Moines for the past 15 years since moving from Story City.

Surviving are her husband, former clothing merchant at Story City, a daughter Rachel, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Anderson and a brother, Alden Anderson of Story City and a sister, Mary Anderson of Texas.

Funeral arrangements had not been completed Tuesday but is is announced services will be held in Story City.

STORY CITY - Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Jacobsen, who died Tuesday morning at her home in Des Moines, will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 from the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Anderson of Story City and at 2 o'clock from the Immanuel Lutheran church with the Rev. T. T. Heimarck in charge. Burial will be in the Story City cemetery.

Mrs. Jacobson was for many years a resident of Story City.

Surviving are her husband, her parents, a brother, Alden Anderson of Story City and sister, Miss Mae Anderson of Texas..
