THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, July 13, 2010.

Cheryl Jean (Benck) Miller, of Chimayo, N.M. and formerly of Ames, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010. The family has scheduled a private celebration of her life.

Cheryl was born July 21, 1945, to Bob and Alice Benck. She graduated from Waverly-Shell Rock High School in 1964. She worked in the social services field her entire life.

She is survived by two children, Mark Miller (Emmi) and Mike Miller, both of Ames; four grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; and her parents.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
