Dr. Harry B. Gray, 91, went to be with the Lord Monday, June 7, 2010 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM, Friday, June 11, at Ankeny Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Slater Baptist Church, 601 Story Street Slater, IA, with burial in White Oak Cemetery in Elkhart.

Harry was born September 3, 1918 to Ben and Martha Gray in Bunker Hill, Kansas. He attended a number of Theological Schools and earned his Th.D. from Dallas Theological Seminary in Texas. He served at Faith Baptist Bible College and Seminary for 45 years. Harry was married to Gladys Charlton September 1, 1972. He was on the accrediting commission of the American Association of Bible Colleges and a member of the Evangelical Theological Society.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys of Ankeny, three children, Jenetta, Paul and Melody, 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Audrey Tong, and a sister.
