THE NEVADA JOURNAL, Nevada, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, May 20, 2010.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at the Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada. A luncheon and the burial of the cremains will follow.

Beatrice (Bea) Melohn, 78, died December 25, 2009, in Apache Junction, Arizona, from complications of a stroke.

Bea was born to Gailard and Muzella (Brower) Clark on November 18, 1931 in Adel, Iowa. She married Russell Melohn on April 28, 1950 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.

Bea is survived by her husband Russell of Apache Junction, AZ.; two sons, Clark (Randy) of Ankeny, Iowa and Richard (Annetta) of Ames; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Bea was preceded in death by her daughter Patricia (1990), her sister Gail Boozell (2003) and her parents.

The family requests no flowers or plants.
