Margaret Ena (Tweten) Hendrian was born Feb. 14, 1941, to parents Selmer and Madge (Moore) Tweten in Detroit, Mich. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended in Story City.

Margaret and Jim were married May 14, 1960, nearly 50 years ago. She had many health problems over the years and also had many, many miracles’ and blessings from the Lord that restored her life with her family, which she so dearly loved. There were eight pregnancies with four sons born, of which only two survived in life. She never lost her faith that the Lord was always with her and her family. She blessed the lives of family and friends with her strength, wit, testimony of the Lord and her life. She had kidney failure six years ago and continued kidney dialysis right up until her death, despite the constant pain she endured. A stroke (while in the hospital from October 2009 through December 4, 2009) is what eventually caused her system to fail completely, which then caused her death.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Jim, at home; her two sons and their families, David and Jennifer, and Donald and Erralee; and six grandchildren, Nicole, Timothy, Kimberly, Jessica, Samantha and Emily, all of Story City. She is also survived by a brother, David L. (Rita) Tweten, of Covina, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Selmer and Madge Tweten; a brother, Dwayne Tweten; and five sisters, Phyllis Bashian, Marion Bopp, Georgine Tweten, Joyce Fletchall, and Marlene Tweten, her twin sister. “The twins are now reunited.”

We will always have the love and memory of Margaret with us.
