Funeral to Be Thursday for Lewis Stout

STORY CITY-(Special)-Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Henderson Funeral home at Story City and at 2 p.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran church, northwest of Story City for Lewis Stout, 73, who died Sunday at 9 p.m. in the Jewell General hospital.

He had been a patient for a week and in failing health for the past two years. Rev. Odean Monson will be in charge, and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Stout was born in Hamilton county, January 7, 1876, and resided there all his life until moving to a farm north of Story City about ten years ago.

Surviving are his widow, Louise and five children. They are Hazel of Webster City, Elmer of Cherokee, Mrs. Ruth Lovig, Stratford, Mrs. Lillian Canfield, Des Moines, and Emma at home. One brother, Swen, lives at Jewell.
