Wife of Col. Scott is Dead

Mrs. Mary S. Scott died at the Victoria Hotel Des Moines last Saturday morning after a short illness, being 72 years old at the time of her demise. the deceased was the wife of the late Col. John Scott of Nevada, and was known to many of the older citizens of the county. The funeral was held on Monday at Nevada where the remains were laid to rest beside her husband.
