THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Saturday, April 24, 2010.

Pauline C. Elliott, 95, of Ames, died Thursday, April 22, 2010, at Mary Greeley Medical Center. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 29, at United Church of Pender, Neb. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Pender, Neb.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, at Adams Funeral Home in Ames, and one hour prior to the service at the church in Pender, Neb.

Pauline C. Elliott was born Aug. 7, 1914, in Pender, Neb., to William C. and Clara (Bayer) Murray. She graduated with the Class of 1935 from Wayne State. She also had attended Iowa State College. On Jan. 20, 1940, she married Ivan C. Elliott. They lived in Rochelle, Ill., from 1940 until 1981, and then in Ames. She was a homemaker and member of Ames Woman’s Club and United Church of Pender, Neb.

She is survived by one son, Terry (Margaret) Elliott, of Kansas City, Mo.; three grandchildren, Sean Elliott, of Kansas City, Mo., Sarah Elliott, of Charlotte, N.C., and Neal (Sara) Elliott, of Bella Vista, Ark.; and two great-grandchildren, Cooper and Patrick Elliott, of Bella Vista, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan C. Elliot, DVM, on May 21, 1980; and one brother, Paul Murray.

Adams Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting with arrangements.
