Mrs. Anna Christine Grimsley was born August 29, 1870, and died at her home a few miles east of here on February 16, 1909, being 38 years, 5 months and 18 days old at the time of her death, which was caused by that dreaded disease, consumption. Her first husband was Hans Jacobson, a brother of J. J. Hoversten of this place, but a few years after his death she was married to Tom Grimsley. She was a sister of Hans Hauskin, of near here. Besides her husband, she leaves four children, besides numerous other friends and relatives to mourn her death.

The funeral took place at McCallsburg last Thursday, Rev. J. N. Sandven of this place officiating, after which interment took place at the McCallsburg cemetery.
