Lawrence Kennedy, 79, of Kelley, died Thursday, April 15, 2010, at Mary Greeley Medical Center. Arrangements are pending with Adams Funeral and Cremation Service.

Lawrence Edward Kennedy, 79, lifetime Kelley resident, died Thursday, April 15, 2010, at Mary Greeley Medical Center. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, at Bethany Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Kelley Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 19, at the church.

Lawrence Edward Kennedy was born Nov. 23, 1930, in Kelley, to Howard and Gladys (Peterson) Kennedy. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He worked for Sunrise Dairy. On July 27, 1963, he married Lorraine Nibe.

Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Kennedy of Kelley; children, Ann Tesdall, of Kelley, and Douglas Tesdall, of Knoxville; sister, Doris Stark, of Kelley; brothers, Marvin, Donald, Richard and Herman, all of Kelley, and John, of Ames; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Adams Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting with arrangements.
