Two Little Sons of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Danielson Have Very Painful Injuries From Manure Spreader
While the hired man was hauling out manure at the Nathan Danielson home Tuesday afternoon, the two sons, Archie and Leon, were playing around, and enjoyed running behind the spreader, when it returned empty to the yards. They were running quite close, when in some manner the spreader was thrown in gear and the pegs on the roller hitting the children about the head. Leon had a gash cut in the face and this injury is not very serious, but Archie had two severe gashes in the back of the head and the meat was literally torn from one of his arms. his injuries were serious but it is hoped that the little boys will soon recover. Dr. Rice was called immediately and dressed the wounds and the boys are getting along as well as can be expected under the circumstances.
