April 25, 1907Death Claims Another Victim
After Several Months of Suffering, Miss Tillie Henderson Passes Away
Miss Tillie Henderson, who was a daughter of Mrs. Helge Risvold, was born May 23, 1867 in Norway and died of the dreaded disease, consumption, on Saturday, April 20, 1907, thus being 39 years, 10 months and 25 days old at the time of her death.
The deceased came to this country when but a child and with her parents lived south of Roland a few years, when they moved to a farm west of Randall. About three years ago, they sold their farm and moved to Roland, where they still resided when she was called to her Heavenly Home.
She leaves her mother, three sisters, Mrs. Jacob, Obe, of Stanhope, Mrs. George Stickle, of Newton, and Miss Hellen Henderson of Minneapolis and a brother, Lars Risvold, who is staying at home, to mourn her untimely death.
The funeral was held Monday, April 23, from Bergen church, Rev. Smedal performing the ceremony, after which the remains were interred in the Roland cemetery. The Record extends it sympathy to the sorrowing ones.
