The Nevada Representative, Nevada, Story County, Iowa, April 17, 1880.

Mrs. Katherine Kriner, wife of Daniel Kriner of Colo, Iowa, died at the Medical Institute of V. F. Kinney, in Marshalltown, Iowa, March 25th, 1880.

Mrs. Kriner was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barkdoll of Naperville, Illinois. Born in Greencastle, Penn., Feb. 14, 1837. She was married to Daniel Kriner at Greencastle, October 24, 1837. In her death Mr. Kriner has lost one of God's best gifts to man, a kind and affectionate wife, one whose price was indeed far above rubies. Her four chilren have lost one of the best of mothers, the church has lost one of its efficient members and the community in which she resided has lost one whose place can never be refilled. None knew her but to love her, none spoke of her but to praise. But our loss is her gain and while we mourn she is at rest.

Mr. Kriner and family have the heartfelt sympathy of the community in this their great bereavement.

The remains were taken to Naperville for interment.

A. M. Norris.
