THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Sunday, March 28, 2010.

Robert “Bob” Ruble, 82, passed away Friday, March 26, 2010, at Colonial Manor in Zearing from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 31, at Bethany Lutheran Church in McCallsburg. Visitation will from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bethany Lutheran Church.

Bob is survived by his wife of 64 years, Alberta; children Bobbi (Garry) Brandenburg, Greg (Ann) Ruble and Kathy Ruble; three grandsons, Craig (Cathy) Brandenburg, Jeff (Kelly) Brandenburg and Nathan (Holly) Ruble; five great-grandchildren; sister Vivian Herndon; and brother Dwight Ruble.

Memorial contributions may be made to McCallsburg Presbyterian Church or Iowa Hospice of Marshalltown.

Fredregill Funeral Home in Zearing is assisting the family.
