The Nevada Representative, Nevada, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, January 14, 1880.

Died.

At her residence in Howard township on Thursday morning of last week, Mrs. Eliza Ballard, relic of the late Dr. M. R. Ballard, aged about 71 years.

Her funeral services were held on Sabbath last, and were attended by a large number of people. She had resided in this county about 24 years, removing here with her husband from Allegany county, N. Y. The old citizens of the county remember her with much kindness, and will long cherish her memory as that of a true christian woman and kind companion and neighbor.
