Death of Mr. and Mrs. Brigham

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Brigham, aged respectively about 75 years and 65 years, have both finally been called to that realm from whence no traveler returns. Mrs. Brigham was taken sick about 7 weeks ago, and from the first her death has been almost daily expect, but by and through the mysteries and mercy of Him who rules all things, its coming was delayed till Monday last, when she was peacefully called to her final home.

Mr. Brigham was sick only about ten days and died on Friday, December 19th. Mr. and Mrs. Brigham were natives of Wells River, Vt., where they married and resided for many years, and where Mr. Brigham carried on an extensive lumbering business. He was at one time worth considerable property, but at present, we think, there is but little left. One son, Mrs. George Brigham, who was with them during their last illness, was an only child.
