The Nevada Representative, Nevada, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, June 29, 1879.

Died.

At her home in Howard township, Story county, June 14th, 1879, Mrs. Jane M. Sheffield, wife of J. W. Sheffield, with measles, aged 39 years.

She leaves a husband a seven small children to mourn their loss. The deceased was a devoted wife and mother whose aim was ever to watch over and care for her family with a devotion unsurpassed. As a neighbor and friend her examples were faultless. She was a firm believer in the religion of Jesus, and we trust has joined the loved ones on the other shore, and is now waiting for those left behind.
