THE NEVADA JOURNAL, Nevada, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, March 11, 2010.

Mary M. Hakes, 85, of Nevada died on Tuesday, March 9, at the Story County Senior Care. Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 15, at the Memorial Lutheran Church, 701 11th St. in Nevada with Pastor Myron Herzberg officiating. Burial will follow in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 14, from 2-4 p.m., again at the Memorial Lutheran Church. A memorial fund has been established in Mary’s name for the Memorial Lutheran Church. Chet Ryan Mortuary has been entrusted with Mary and her family.
