The Nevada Representative, Nevada, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, January 1, 1879.
Died.
On the 12th day of December, 1878, Mrs. Arabella McCready daughter of G. W. and S. A. Wireman, aged 21 years, 1 month and 25 days.
She leaves a husband and babe, parents and relatives, to mourn her loss. Standing on the very threshold of life, with its prospects bright before her, she was called to pass through "the valley of the shadow of death." Her pure young life has been transplanted to the other side, to dwell with those gone before. Those whom she hath left are called from thoughts on the dark pall and cold grave, to the contemplation of another jewel in His crown, for surely she will be there when he makes up his jewels.
We stand beside the darkened pall,
And yet, we make no moan,
Our hearts are sore, and yet we know,
God hath only taken his own.Relative.
