THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Saturday, February 27, 2010.

Cheryl Lynn Ring, 54, of Ames, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at the Abington on Grand. A memorial service will be in July.

Cheryl was born Sept. 2, 1955, in Ames, to Stanley and Betty (Andreason) Ring. She was a 1973 Ames High School graduate and was a CNA. She was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church. Cheryl had a great sense of humor and a strong faith. She enjoyed reading, music, travel, dancing, watching movies and people.

She is survived by her mother, Betty, of Ames; sister, Karen Krupinski, of Milton, Del.; nephews, Jason (Maria) and Brett; niece, Lauren; and grand-nephew, Riley.

Adams Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting the family with the arrangements.
