MRS. HANDELAND, STORY CITY, DIES

STORY CITY-Mrs. Hannah Handeland, 86, died Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. at the Sunset Home, where she had been a resident for two years.

She was born in Hamilton county and had lived in and around this community all her life.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Sunset Home and at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran church. The Rev. O.C. Johnson, of the St. Petri Lutheran church will officiate.

Burial will be in Story City cemetery.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Milford (Emma) Britson, Roland; five sons-Carl, McCallsburg; Osbourne, Chicago; John, Des Moines; Milford, Ames; Miran, St. Paul; and 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
