THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Saturday, February 20, 2010.

Nancy Mensinger, 71, of Ames, died Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames after a long battle with cancer.

A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Caldwell-Raddatz Funeral Home, 8201 Hickman Road, Urbandale.

Nancy is survived by one daughter Patti (Perry) Reitz, of Ames; one son, Jerry, of Omaha, Neb.; grandchildren Curt Weigel, Jordan, Ethan and Sam Reitz, and Elizabeth and Jack Mensinger; two sisters, Linda Evenson and Mary Roberts; and four brothers, Scott Morton, Hugh Morton Jr., Pat McGovern and Mike McGovern.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Hugh Morton; one sister, Susan Burt; and one brother, John Morton.
