Albert “Al” Link was born March 30, 1943 in Ames to Marion and Doris (Comstock) Link. Al was employed by the City of Ames Electric Distribution Dept. for 34 years before retiring in 1998. After retirement Al worked for Shelby Mustang in Las Vegas for three years, then returned to Iowa to “retire”. Al loved fishing, woodworking, camping and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his son, Josh (Krissy) Link of Knoxville; daughter, Bonnie (Mike) Larrew of Boone: son, Robert Stoner of Iowa City; daughter, Theresa Vokes of Las Vegas, NV; son Terry Stoner of Ohio; sister, Lynn (Mark) McVicker of Roanoke, VA; sister, Sandra Pogwizel of Ames, many grandkids including granddaughter, Cassidy Larrew and grandson, Owen Link; and special friend Phyllis and many family and friends.

Al was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Aaron Link.

Adams Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
