NEVADA – JulieAnn Marie Ulrich, 38, of Nevada, died at her home Thursday, January 28, 2010.

Julie was born April 7, 1971 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of David and Carolyn (Davis) Strickland. She graduated from Walnut Ridge Baptist Academy and attended Faith Bible College in Ankeny. She was united in marriage to Luke Ulrich on October 26, 1991 in Waterloo. Julie enjoyed teaching piano. She was a member of the Nevada Baptist Church. Julie loved her children and family.

Julie is survived by her husband, Luke, of Nevada, Iowa; her three children: Harrison, Levi and Lauren, all at home; her father and mother, David and Carolyn Strickland of Nevada, Iowa; and a brother and sister-in-law: David and Mercy Strickland of Waterloo, Iowa.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Nevada Baptist Church. Interment was in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Nevada Baptist Church Playground Fund.

The Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory in Nevada handled arrangements.
