Beatrice (Bea) Melohn, 78, died December 25, 2009 in Apache Junction, Arizona, from complications of a stroke.

Bea was born to Gailard and Muzella (Brower) Clark on November 18, 1931 in Adel, Iowa. She married Russell Melohn on April 28, 1950 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.

Bea is survived by her husband, Russell of Apache Junction, AZ., two sons: Clark (Randy) of Ankeny, Iowa and Richard (Annetta) of Ames, Iowa and seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother; Ben (Willa) of Bloomfield, Iowa, and 3 sisters; Sharon (Delbert) Deaton of Mingo, Iowa, Sue (Dave) O’Donnell of Colo, Iowa and Lynn (Ray) Anderson of Collins, Iowa.

Bea was proceeded in death by her daughter Patricia in 1990, her sister Gail Boozell and her parents.

Burial of the remains will be at a later date.
