THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, January 12, 2010.

Juanita Arlene Carver, 91, died peacefully in her sleep Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010. Cremation has taken place, and services are pending.

She was born Nov. 7, 1918, to Wesley Allen and Emma Fisher Deal. She was a proud lifelong Iowa resident, save the last three years in Kansas. She enjoyed farm life and gardening. She loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family.

She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Charlene (Dale) Jarboe, of Iowa, Ellen (Lyle) Herwehe, of Wisconsin, and Marsha (Rick) Hogan, of Kansas; son-in-law, Harold Donald, of Iowa; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Carver; one son, Dennis Curley; and one daughter, Lynda Donald.

Arrangements are being handled by the Cremation Society of Kansas and Missouri, (913) 383-9888.
