THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, December 22, 2009.

Robert Russell “Bud” Lyon, 91, of Traer and formerly of Toledo, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, at the Sunrise Hill Care Center in Traer. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28, at the United Presbyterian Church in Traer.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, at the Overton Funeral Home in Traer, with Masonic rites at 4:30 p.m.

Survivors include four children, Linda (Mark) Podhajsky, of Waverly, Virginia Koon and Bob (Kathy) Lyon, all of Ames, and Larry (Karen) Lyon, of Franklin, Wis.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
