Genevieve Magnuson, 92, of Ames, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Her wishes were that her body be gifted to the Department of Anatomy at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. A memorial service will be Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at First United Methodist Church in Boone. A full obituary will be at a later date. Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall streets in Boone is in charge of arrangements.
