Charles “Joe” Anderson, 61, of Ames, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009. A graveside service will be at noon Monday, Oct. 26, in Story Memorial Gardens in Ames.

Anderson is survived by his mother, Helen Anderson; brother, David Anderson; sister, Barbara Anderson; nephew, Neil Gerstein; and aunts and uncles.

Charles Joseph “Joe” Anderson, 61, of Ames, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009. A graveside service was Oct. 26.

Joe was an avid movie collector and enjoyed varied collections and travel. He worked at the Story County Development Center for more than 25 years.

He is survived by his mother, Helen Anderson; one brother, David Anderson; one sister, Barbara Anderson; one nephew, Neil Gerstein; and numerous aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Anderson.
