THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, October 14, 2009.

Charles R. Gildersleeve, 69, of Omaha, Neb., and formerly of Zearing, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009. The family is planning a private funeral for a later date.

Memorials may be sent to the University of Nebraska Foundation in care of the Charles Gildersleeve Geography Scholarship Fund.

John A. Gentleman Mortuaries of Omaha is assisting the family.
