THE STORY CITY HERALD, Story City, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, September 23, 2009.

Berdella Middents, 86, our beloved mother passed away September 12, 2009 of natural causes. She was surrounded by her loving family and caring staff at Fountain View Village in Fountain Hills, Arizona.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Kamrar, Iowa. A celebration of life service will be held in Rio Verde, Arizona winter 2010 (TBD).

Berdie was loved by so many, for so long and returned the love unconditionally.

She is survived by her two daughters Peggy (Paul Pettit) Middents, Cynthia (Michael Valliere) Middents. Grandchildren Brooks Pettit, Megan (John Kannegieter) Pettit, Jessica Valliere, and Joshua Valliere.

Berdie will be missed by all, may she reunite with her husband Mel. Rest in peace we love you Mom/Nana.
