THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, October 1, 2009.

Betty Jane Cue, 84, of Ames, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at Mary Greeley Medical Center. Private graveside services will be in Ames Municipal Cemetery, with Pastor Paul Johnson officiating.

Betty Jane Cue was born March 3, 1925, in Mason City, to Joseph Earl and Hilda (Erickson) Maddigan. She married James “Jim” Cue March 12, 1945, in Ames. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and working puzzles. She was a member of United Church of Christ-Congregational.

She is survived by her husband, Jim, of Ames; one sister-in-law, Mary Jane Bogdanovitch; nieces and nephews; and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be given to Mary Greeley Medical Center Auxiliary or United Church of Christ-Congregational.

Adams Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting with arrangements.
