John Whiting, 88, of Polk City, died Sept. 16, at Taylor Hospice House in Des Moines. Graveside services with Military Honors will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Riverside Cemetery in Riverside. Bacon Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
