THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, September 29, 2009.

John Whiting, 88, of Polk City, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, at Taylor Hospice House in Des Moines. Graveside services with military honors will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Riverside Cemetery in Riverside.

Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
